Conquer the Complexity Approach

Course Summary

If you find the complexity approach overwhelming, or you tried it once and walked away (likely more confused than confident!), this course takes it out of the textbook and puts it in your therapy room. No more guessing which target to pick, no more wondering what to do when your student can't say that complex cluster... just a clear, practical, "real-life" deep dive into one of my most used phonological interventions!

This course builds on the presentation that won Best Extended Presentation at the 2026 Speech Pathology Australia Conference   "They Said Teach Clusters, Here's How."

  • By the end of this 2.5 hour course, participants will:

  • * Understand all the "complex" terms and why this approach works
  • * Confidently assess AND choose a complex target for any child
  • * Set up therapy sessions and data tracking that actually show you're getting bigger, faster gains
  • * Know exactly what to do when a child can't produce your target (without giving up or falling back to "easy" goals)

Three modules, built so you can do one at a time.  No need to sit through 2.5 hours straight!

Course Curriculum

This 2.5 hour course is for you if:

1. You're an SLP/A who wants to start using the complexity approach but aren't sure where to begin

2. You've tried it before and got inconsistent or confusing results

3. You want the theory and the practical, in-the-room application (not just one or the other)

4. You're a visual learner who needs real examples, therapy clips, and charts to consolidate your knowledge

All of our courses are priced and charged in US dollars (USD). If you pay by card, your bank will automatically convert the amount to your local currency at their current exchange rate, so the final amount on your statement may look a little different to the USD price, and some banks add a small international transaction fee.

If you would like to see the converted amount before you commit, choose PayPal at checkout. PayPal shows you the total in your own currency before you confirm your payment. Your invoice and receipt will always show the USD amount.

Our courses are charged in US dollars (USD), so if your card is in another currency, your bank converts the USD amount at their own exchange rate when the payment goes through.

The figure on your statement is the converted amount, and some banks also add a small international transaction fee on top. This is completely normal, and nothing has gone wrong with your order.

Your invoice (accessible through your Course My Account - Billing) will always show the original USD price, so if the numbers don't match, the difference is simply the exchange rate and any fees your bank has applied.

If something still doesn't look right, email us at support@adventuresinspeechpathology.com and we'll happily take a look.
